The ABM Diesel Heater: Your Sleep-Easy Solution
Diesel Air heaters are available in 2-kW and 5-kW heating capacity, offering both efficient cosy hot air and fresh air modes for your off-grid adventures.
The right size heater depends on your vehicle size, destination, time of year, and insulation level. A 5-kW parking heater quickly turns smaller campervans into a sauna, even on the lowest setting. Running a diesel motor on a low setting for extended periods can lead to soot building up.
We recommend a 5kW heater for vans over 17-20 m³. When in doubt, choose a smaller heater and let it run on a higher setting, rather than always running the larger heater on a lower setting. The 2 kW unit is capable of producing up to 86 m³ of hot air per hour at your set temperature.
